If you have unsubscribed from our marketing e-mails, there is a chance that you may not receive our important account and scheduling update e-mails.

Issues? Please let us know.

We offer four lawn care packages to suit varying needs and budgets. Each package is on an Even Billing schedule, meaning you will make the same predictable, contract-free payment each month to receive year-round service.

Learn more about Even Billing in this video.

Cutting off more than ⅓ of the grass blade can harm the grass and promote weed growth throughout the lawn.

We do our very best to provide quality mowing services that you can be proud of, while actively working to maintain a happy and healthy lawn.

Our crews may be routed for several projects or services in a single day.

Unlike our office hours, crews may work (or arrive) at a job site past 4pm EST – sometimes working until dark.

Although your scheduling update e-mail provides a specific day for you to expect our team, it may be later in the day before they arrive at your property – even past standard business hours.

If for some reason our crew encounters a challenge or delay that prevents them from serving you after our administrative team has left for the day, you will receive an e-mail update the next morning and be served as quickly as possible.

We book consultations during business hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

This allows our team members to maintain a healthy balance of time at work and home, while providing a wide window of consultation availability to our clients throughout the week.

For clients whose schedules do not permit in-person consultations, we offer phone consultations as an alternative.

How to Care for Your New Plants

Open our Landscape Warranty.

Your irrigation system will not sufficiently water your new plants during the establishment period. Hand watering will be required during the establishment period.

General Watering Tips

  • Water slowly and avoid runoff.
  • Avoid frequent, light sprinkling.
  • Make sure water penetrates deeply to establish healthy roots.

  • Measure rate of flow from your hose, or use a bucket of known volume and poke holes in the bottom for a slow release of water.
  • Account for rainfall and weather conditions.
  • Sandy, dry soils need more water.
  • Check soil moisture by physical inspection.
  • Too much water can kill plants; soil should never be soggy.

During installation, we took preventative measures to decrease weeds in your landscape. We used soil separation fabric to create a barrier if we added rock to your landscape, and we applied pre-emergent if we added mulch to your landscape.

Despite our efforts, persistent weeds may still pop up. We highly recommend hand-pulling any pesky pop ups, but please contact us to discuss other weed control options.

How to Care for Your New Trees

For the first month (excluding rainy season), water your trees and shrubs for fifteen minutes each day with trickling water. Your irrigation system will not sufficiently water your new trees during the establishment period. Hand watering will be required during the establishment period.

You can continue this watering routine after the first month (or until rainy season begins), but the first month is necessary.

How to Care for Your New Curbing

It is critical that pets, children, lawn care workers, neighbors, and other people, animals, and objects are kept away from the curb for at least 24 hours. Please do not allow sprinklers to water the new curbing for at least two days after installation if possible. It will be “hard” to the touch at this point but will still need 14-28 days (and sometimes longer) for complete internal curing.

Throughout the curing process, the color of the curbing may change. This is typical and normal, and it will achieve its final color once curing is complete. Colored curbing may look “splotchy” during curing; this is temporary and normal.

Learn more about curbing care and warranty coverage on page 5 of our Terms of Service.

How to Care for Your New Lighting

Your landscape lighting fixtures carry a lifetime warranty. Lanai lighting fixtures carry a five year warranty. Should you have any questions or concerns about any parts of your lighting, we are here to assist you.

During installation, we installed the timer to your preferred setting. If you have issues or would prefer an adjustment, please let us know.

After some time (or due to heavy rain or strong winds, etc.), your landscape lighting fixtures may tilt or fall over. This is normal. We offer quarterly light assessment packages to our lighting clients, which includes the straightening of your fixtures. If you’re interested in learning more, please let us know.

How to Care for Your New Sod

Watering will be key to establishing your new sod. General guidelines during establishment are to water 1/2″ to 3/4″ daily for the first 45 days per city guidelines, then twice a week. This is a guideline only and will vary depending on time of year, weather, soil, amount of shade and other variables.

If you have any questions about the health of your sod during its establishment period, please email us photos or video of the area, or call our office.
